The newspaper announced that Rick Perry, who is now leading the Republican pack for presidential-candidate, counts among his achievements 234 executions. This sets a record for the number of individuals killed by any Governor in the history of capital punishment in the United States. He boldly vetoed a bill that would spare mentally ill and retarded children, and he sharply criticized a Supreme-Court ruling that juveniles were not eligible for the death penalty. If elected, he has promised to make parking-illegally in any government parking lot a capital offense.
Respectfully submitted,
