(424) FUNDAMENT

“Fundamentalism is the philosophy of the powerless, the conquered, the displaced, and the disposed.

Fundamentalism and art are mutually exclusive. There is no such thing as Fundamentalist art. This does not mean that the Fundamentalist is not creative. Rather, his creativity is inverted. He creates destruction. Even the structures he builds, his schools and networks of organization, are dedicated to annihilation of his enemies and of himself.”
– Stephen Pressfield, The War of Art

Millions of Mormons believe that their Text was written in an ancient language onto gold plates by the Angel Moroni and buried, to be subsequently discovered by Joseph Smith, who translated them into English by burying his face (it’s amazing that anyone could believe this crap) in a hat containing magic stones. Because he could not read or write, he orally dictated what the magic stones said was on the gold plates written in the ancient language. Equally amazing, the Mormons are busily converting Jews who were killed in the Holocaust to Mormonism. The reason for this extraordinary action is that, once they are converted, their souls can be saved. What? Huh?

However, there is nothing to worry about. This fellow is running for President and, if elected, we all get to hear about the magic hat.

Respectfully submitted,
Donald M. Heavrin,
Your servant of truth is the garden of strange
